Art | Equity | Access | Healing

Common Root Collective (CRC) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the Pikes Peak region through inclusive, community-centered creative programming, shared creative resources, and collaborative partnerships through its Root Network initiative.

CRC believes creativity has the power to inspire, connect, and create change. We work to build inclusive and accessible environments where art becomes a catalyst for growth, collaboration, expression, and meaningful community engagement.

We meet people where they are at.

Mission

Common Root Collective’s mission is to expand access to art through inclusive, trauma-informed programs, shared creative resources, and collaborative spaces that support expression, skill-building, and sustainable creative opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds.

Vision

Common Root Collective envisions a world where creative access is not limited by systems, ability, or circumstance—where individuals can engage, learn, and grow through art in ways that reflect how they think, process, and experience the world.

We are building environments that meet people where they are, creating pathways for participation, connection, and economic opportunity through inclusive, research-informed creative practice.

Current Initiative Areas

Through our initiative areas, we cultivate spaces where creativity becomes a pathway to self-expression, shared understanding, and community well-being.

Each area reflects a different part of our mission—whether through creative practice, education, partnership, or exploring new approaches to inclusion and creative growth.
